Large selection? Transfer with Globus directly.

Requires your local machine has a Globus endpoint: see Globus Connect Personal to set up on your computer, or check with your compute cluster.

On your endpoint:

  1. Setup. Run globus login. (if required, install globus-cli package, e.g. pip install globus-cli). To find endpoint ID, run globus endpoint local-id.
  2. Transfer. Paste the following commands into your terminal which will download the necessary chunks from Constellation. It prints a task ID and the status of the transfer can be tracked through globus task show <ID> or at app.globus.org/activity.
  3. Rebuild. Once the transfer is complete, download and run rebuild.py using the command below to assemble the chunks into one .npy array. This step requires a Python environment with numpy and zarr>=3 (install with pip install numpy "zarr>=3"; zarr 3 needs Python 3.11+). Adjust the target path to point to the download folder if required.

2. View and download to your machine
